The primary objective of the programme was to prepare students for campus recruitment by enhancing their interview skills, communication abilities, and overall career readiness.
On 30th March 2026, Shivani Engineering College organized a Career Readiness Programme on Interview Excellence for third-year students across all departments.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Er. S. Vigneshwaran, Secretary, Shivani Institutions.
The session was conducted by the following distinguished resource persons:
Mr. Ragudeep Madineni, Industry 5.0, AI & Robotics Tech Park, Indian Institute of Science
Mrs. Sreekala Sunderrajan, General Manager – Technology, One Savings Bank, UK
The session focused on equipping students with the necessary skills to face interviews confidently and effectively. The speakers shared valuable insights on resume preparation, communication skills, body language, and interview techniques.
They emphasized the importance of confidence, a positive attitude, and strong technical knowledge for success in campus placements. Practical tips and real-time examples were also discussed to help students better understand industry expectations.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. K. P. Ravikumar, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, who also delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Management, resource persons, and participants.
Third-year students from all departments actively participated in the programme and benefited from the session.
The programme significantly enhanced students’ interview skills, improved their confidence levels, and strengthened their preparedness for placement opportunities.
The programme was successfully conducted and proved to be highly beneficial for the students. The Management was sincerely appreciated for organizing such a valuable and career-oriented initiative.
