The objective of the programme was to help faculty members understand stress management techniques and enhance their ability to handle students effectively in the present educational environment.
Shivani Engineering College successfully conducted a Faculty Development Programme on “Stress Management” on 30th March 2026.
The programme was organized for faculty members of Shivani Engineering College, SSK Polytechnic College, and Mariamman Nursing College.
The programme commenced with a welcome address and felicitation by Er. S. Vigneshwaran, Secretary, Shivani Institutions.
The session was handled by the following resource persons:
Mr. Ragudeep Madineni, Industry 5.0, AI & Robotics Tech Park, Indian Institute of Science
Mrs. Sreekala Sunderrajan, General Manager – Technology, One Savings Bank, UK
The resource persons delivered insightful sessions on stress management, focusing on the causes of stress and effective techniques to overcome it. They emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, developing a positive mindset, and improving emotional well-being.
They also addressed the challenges involved in handling today’s younger generation by providing practical guidance on understanding student behavior, enhancing communication skills, and adopting modern teaching methodologies to engage students effectively.
