Trichy, 6 August 2026: Shivani Engineering College successfully conducted a Campus Interview by Besant Technologies, Chennai, for the 2026–27 final-year students of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS), Cyber Security, and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
The programme commenced with Mr. Jawahar, HoD – CSE, delivering the welcome address. Dr. G. Uthayakumaran, Dean, delivered the felicitation address and motivated the students to make the best use of the campus recruitment opportunity.
The Chief Guest, Mr. A. Akilan, Senior Manager – HR, Besant Technologies, addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights about the company, its work culture, recruitment process, and career opportunities. He emphasized the importance of effective communication skills, technical knowledge, professional attitude, confidence, and employability skills for achieving success in the corporate sector.
He also explained the selection procedure followed by Besant Technologies and guided students on how to prepare themselves for the recruitment process. His interaction provided students with a better understanding of industry expectations and corporate requirements.
Following the inaugural session, the recruitment process was handed over to the HR Managers of Besant Technologies for further proceedings, including student interaction and the selection process.
The campus recruitment drive provided students with valuable exposure to industry-oriented recruitment practices, corporate expectations, career opportunities, and the transition from campus to corporate life.
Shivani Engineering College continues to strengthen its industry–academia relationship by facilitating regular campus recruitment drives, corporate interactions, and placement opportunities, empowering students to build successful careers.
